
This year’s kick off meeting will occur on Tuesday, September 20th 2011 @ 5.45pm in room U330.
The agenda for the meeting will cover (1) a description of the senior club officers, (2) the mission of the club, (3) the events for the year, (4) the 9th annual conference and also (5) the AVP positions available.

Come and enjoy a delicious African buffet on Saturday, October 15th @ 5pm at one of our board member house (Olivia has nicely agreed to host the event!).

NYU Stern African Club and the ABC an annual mixer with the purpose to develop a strong African business school network.
This year, the event will be a brunch on Sunday, November 13th at 3.30pm @ the Red Rooster - 10 Malcolm X Boulevard Harlem, NY 10027 (www.redroosterharlem.com )

The full board of the ABC meets on a monthly basis to discuss the progress of our new initiatives, and assess the members needs.

In partnership with other major business schools in the country, the ABC organizes a bi-annual cocktail, hosting over 100 African MBA students from Harvard, Duke, MIT, Kellogg, NYU and Wharton.
The first edition of the event occurs on Saturday, November 19th, 7.30pm at Location 05 (9th fl 200 Hudson Street Manhattan, NY 10013)

On a monthly basis, the club tries to organize potluck dinners, usually hosted one of the officers residence.
The first dinner occurred at Eda’s house on Friday, December 9th 2011 and we had the opportunity to host a great group of ~20 Africa focused individuals.
Please look out for the next event in the spring.

Every year, the ABC has the pleasure of entertaining a healthy group of 30-35 students to a trip to Africa at the of May.
Last year, we headed to Tanzania for 10 days and this year the trek is heading to Morocco.
We will be sharing more details regarding registration in the coming months
